My kids favor me and their dad just a little , but I've seen many people whose kids look like little clones of them. I've always wanted to know what it's like to have a miniature version of yourself for your son or daughter.

I've never just walked up and asked a stranger "Hey what's it like to have your child look just like you?" because I thought it might come across as rude. I figure if I ask here, it will be answered by people who want to answer the question.

It means alot to me because both of our kids resemble me quite a bit, and they are both adopted. So for anybody that doesn't know our family history they are certain they are our children. It imparts a real sense of belonging for the kids. And i get quite a charge out of it when people say they look so much like their mother , and they don't know the difference.

My son looks like both my husband and I, but not like a little clone of either of us. The strange thing is when my grandpa died last year my mom and a few of my aunts and uncles were going through pictures to put up at the funeral and they found a picture of when my cousin and I were younger. My son looks exactly like him; same lips, nose, eyes, hair, even the same skin color, the only difference is my son is half Mexican and my cousin is completely white but had a darker skin color when he was younger.

My oldest son is the spitting image of his father. The dad has been out of the picture for 8 years now but the older my son gets, the more he's like his father. They walk, talk, chew, laugh, sit, and even have the same expressions. They even have the same sense of humor.

its nice. My boyfriend and his entire family have the strongest genes i've ever seen. When I found out I was having a boy I knew it would look just like him. Mainly because his brother has like 4 kids and they all look like quadruplets or something even though they came from three different mothers! Even his sisters son looks just like all the boys its weird. People have actually stopped them on the street and asked if they were quintuplets! But I cant wait to have my baby.At least if me and my boyfriend dont stay together I will always have something that looks just like him to look at.

Its nice. For the first time, I have someone in my family that actually looks related to me! Irregardless of looks, each of my kids have a mixture of my qualities. My sister's child looks just like her and its too cute. I never thought I looked that great, but my kids are beautiful (rosed colored glasses of motherhood). And I'll never have someone think my kid doesn't belong with me!

When I look at my children, I see myself, my mother and my father.

When my husband looks at the kids, he admits they look more like me, but don't tell that to his parents.

According to the paternal grandparents my children are clones of my hubby and his sister.

I recently looked at a picture of myself at two...it looks like my son in a dress with slightly longer hair. My daughter looks like my mom. She even has many of her facial expressions.

my husbands grown children(from first wife)are EXACT REPLICAS of him,his grandson is also a replica, and i was shocked to see old pictures of my father-in-law,for,except for the old-fashioned clothes,at first glimpse,i thought they were pictures of my husband.my husband loves the attention regarding all the mini-me's,and so do i !!!they are all very handsome, and its interesting to see them together.my husband tells everyone he has very "strong genes>".my husband is also a twin,so its a family full of strong resemblances.most families look kinda/sorta alike, but my husbands family is startling.pics of hubby/grandson @ same age, look like photos of the same child.go ahead and say "he/she looks just like u!" u will make some parent/grandparent very proud! ps-please dont think im downplaying their mom,she is lovely as well.

My son is an exact replica of his father. I love it! It's like being able to see my husband when he was a child. I know his Mother loves it too, it's like going back in time for her.

My oldest is my mini me, and my youngest is my husbands mini me. Its kind of scarey, to think that we both have little clones. I am expecting my 3 in May and hope it looks like both of us.
