Sure thing! :)
There is a product called Advantage that is safe for kittens 8 weeks and older, works GREAT. You can pick it up at your vet's office, and they can go over all the specifics with you.

I will caution about using Biospot, Zodiac, or ANY of the flea preventions sold in regular grocery stores or walmart...I work at a very busy animal hospital and we have seen so many with Hartz flea prevention on them in seizures or dead on arrival. (You can Google Biospot for all kinds of horror stories al over the country)...

Flea collars ONLY work for the head, neck and shoulder area, so using them on your pet is a waste of time...

At your kittens' age, I wouldnt suggest using flea shampoos unless given to you by a vet after you let them know the ages and severity. The medication in the shampoo may be too harsh...And ALWAYS use ONLY cat safe supplies...shampoos and products labeled for DOGs are WAY too harsh, and may be fatal to a cat's sensitive system.

Good Luck!

They are really young for a flea treatment but the best thing you should so is contact a vet and ask them the age limit for advantage it's the best stuff they might recommend using half the amount in the tube. And don't forget you'll will have clean and vaccuum all the areas the kittens have gone to and clean and change the litter box. Flea eggs hatche every 40 to 45 day so you really have to make sure they are out of the house. Be sure to empty the vaccuum bag and clean the vaccuum as welll, Diatrom Dirt is really good for preventing new out breaks you can buy it a pet stores . Good luck

The best products to use for fleas is Advantage or Frontline/Top Spot. Both of these are available at your Vet. You need to double check the instructions on the package, but I'm pretty sure 8 weeks is the youngest age that you can apply either of these. I have spoken to Representatives of each of these companies and I have been told that you can repeat the application 8 to 10 days after the first application if you have a lot of fleas.

When they are that young the best and safest way to treat for fleas is by bathing them. And afterwards using a comb to get rid of the fleas. Any poison you put on them could cause them harm or they can die so I wouldn't take a chance with anything but a bath.

I wouldn't try it while they are so young. Most pesticides are very strong and even though they are harmless to a full grown cat, they will cause sickness and in some cases death to young kittens. Check with a Vet and see if there is anything new on the market that the kittens could ingest. That way when they're bitten by the flea they will die shortly after or deterred all the while.

Yes, it is very important to get rid of those fleas, because a kitten's small body can actually become dehydrated from blood loss caused by flea bites, and they can die. Frontline for cats can be used on kittens as young as 8 months. It's not cheap but it works. Check with your vet.

Actually, yes. If you look in the pet section of say Walmart, they should have something to treat kittens for fleas. Be sure to read the labels carefully. You could also try mineral oil, it'll make their fur and skin oily and look bad for a while, but it's an alternative to the chemicals that might harm them.

I don't recommend anything over the counter to treat your kitten. One of them is unsafe for animals period and is known to cause seizures and even death. Many of the topical treatments you get from your vet is safe for puppies and kittens 8 weeks or older. Hope this helps

If you are afraid to use a treatment, try teatree oil...they will be gross and oily, but it helps. We had fleas in a fully carpeted house with a dog, six kittens, four cats and five kids...teatree worked :)
