This is a religous question, as it goes to the credibility of artifacts, such as the Bible.

How would they know about the coin? You may as well ask how the prophets knew about Jesus! I have heard some preachers go as far as to say the entire Bible was for- know, not just the seventy generations that preceded BC

It's a rather existential question. There's no way the people who lived in 53 BC would know it's 53 BC, since they didn't know when Jesus was coming (if at all). So there is in fact no way you could be in possession of a coin dated 53 BC, or even have a genuine picture of one.

The coin could be quite valuable today, but only to a collector. What does the coin look like? Is their an inscription? Edit your post so there is more info to judge it on.

EDIT: However, if the coin says "53 B.C." anywhere on it, its probably worthless...

EDIT: And if all you have is the picture, its only worth is for telling religious riddles.

Nothing. It's a fraud. The people couldn't have known that Jesus would be coming in 53 years.
