Of course I would. If I lost the belief in an afterlife and was certain when your dead, that's it, I would be even more grateful for being the product of a single egg who accepted the 1 sperm out of 20 to 750 million sperm trying to fertilize it. This is my ride, my trip, my Disneyland, my fantasy and I am seeing and experiencing things all the losers in the race for reproduction never got to see. Carry on? Heck yes I will.

that really depends a lot on your religion, I would guess.

I don't have a holy book that purports to be the eternal truth - my eternal truth is in Nature.

And I would continue to fight the destruction of our green and beautiful planet even if one day I woke up and decided that there is no sacred spark in the things of the natural world, because this planet is worth preserving for future generations.

I would still glory in the changes of the seasons, and sunrises and sunsets, because to do so contributes to my happiness.

I don't think I could lose my religion. I try to remember where I had it last and I can find God waiting for me right where I left him.

God is wayting for those mens.
In The Bible NT,is about the come back to his father, of the son who lost his fortune, and his father celebrates the his son return.
So, God will celebrates the returns of souls to Him, we must understand how much important is an saved soul for God, in each soul is a part of The Spirit of God.

No. I was very close to that, and didn't give up because I had strength from God not to. But no, I would rather die. A world without His love is a world that rejects me, that hates me, even when it loves me, because there is no love - not "agape," the love of the Cross. I would commit suicide. Honestly.
