That's the hook baited. Now to reel in all the self righteous.

Only pre-pubescent, ignorant children (teenagers) go against religion.
When you grow up, you'll appreciate the concept of religion.

Please be sure to read the paragraph *last*.

You are obviously scared by your perceived lack of purpose - it is only to be expected that when a nihilist or atheist encounters a seemingly intelligent person (not to different from yourself I expect) who seems to have somehow, by methods they cannot comprehend, concluded that their life has an ultimate purpose, you are confused and slightly angered. You probably don't find it amusing, but I expect you have a deep urge to ridicule the religious that often slips into discussions such as these.

Unfortunately, this makes you infinitely less convincing to the religious. Your hatred is something that you surely agree you shouldn't bear against people. . . and yet your godlessness seems to provoke it. You readily start up discussions with the intent to reassure yourself that your choice to ignore God is a good one, even though that action tells everyone else that you have your doubts. A man does not talk to or poke fun at a lunatic unless he is himself horribly evil, or unless he feels that in fact the lunatic might have something to say. If you really felt that religion was meaningless, you would not be here - you wouldn't feel the urge or guilt of godlessness.

The comfort you feel in 'not dealing' with religion is a false one, provided only by the unfortunate evils of mankind, which some fundamentalists might like to say is spawned by the Devil and the irrational pleasure some find in godlessness. God did not intentionally create evil, he only gave makind the choice to be evil if they so wished.

I could go on, but I want to play on Mediaeval 2 Total War and relive some of the bloodiest and inhumane battles ever fought in known history, all of course fought in the name of conflicting religions, each as bizzarre and unfounded as the last. I was merely playing devil's advocate in the above passage, and believe that religion is no more than implausible wishful thinking.

there is a difference between Christian and religious. I believe in God and I believe that Jesus was his son. I do not judge, I am not a hypocrite. Most of the folks that make you ill really do have good intentions. Just like with every opinion some folks are a little pushy about it..God's plan is for all to love one another regardless of faults and let Him deal with the problems.

lol, I totally agree with you. It's down right scary actually. For those who take the bible or the koron literally meaning they actually believe it word for word I have one thing to say to them.

RELIGIOUS FANATICS!

Mohammed married and had sex with a 9 year old little girl. Now if I were some Muslim religious fanatic or pediphile I would also marry and have sex with a 9 year old girl because Mohammed did it.

And for those people out there who say that Mohammed had sex with a 9 year old because back then that was considered legal. This is exactly my point. Practice your religion but follow the current law of the land your living in.

sure could be. Perhaps you are showing those christians that you are athiest. This would inspire them to share the good news to you.

I don't believe your vomit story, sorry. A human body doesn't nauseate upon such an instance described. Since over half of everone in the world has some sort of religous overtone, you would be vomiting yourself insideout anyway.

Please define religious.. is it those of any faith? Is it those who behave "religiously" in whatever they do? Is it those that prosletyze? Is it those who condemn those who don't believe as they would have them, trying to change other's beliefs because they are stupid or dangerous or worship the wrong version of Deity or absence thereof?

Being sickened at meeting someone who believes differently than you seems self-righteous on its own merits. I guess you don't have to go far to look for such. Might I suggest a close examination of your bathroom mirror?

I highly doubt that you ;literally vomit when you meet a religious person. (unless you have a stomach flu) . God loves you
No matter what you have done. And its a shame that you hate him!! after all if not for him you would not even be alive!

Im not self righteous at all im sory you are so sick God s plan is not for you to be nauseated by me it is for us to love each other as his creation
(Matt.5:43-48
43 "You have heard that it was said, `Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'
44 But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous

Any fanatic person can be REEEALLY ANNOYING! I know what religion I am and I'm not changing it. It is not in God's plan. Its just that people can be really stupid abut trying to make other people believe in what they believe. that's all. Don't blame it in God because at the end most religions lead to Him.

I'm sorry that the faith of another person would make you so ill. Maybe you'd want to just stop caring what they believe and worry about your own life. It might help with the vomiting.

You have a problem, that is as bad as the folks that you are attacking. "Normal" would be decent, and kind, not at all what you are reflecting here. Be nice, it is really OK, and actually feels good, try it, you will like it, I promise.
