This is not true. acne scar's heal at any age but faster in the younger generations as activity leads alot to healing as does blood circulaton, lifestyle etc. the younger the person with POT marks the faster they may heal, smoking also slows down the healing process. The more active the patient usually the faster the healing process, depending on severity..... You must take very good care of your skin and as well stop picking if you are a picker, as this leads to more infection and bacteria being transferred from your fingers to your pores. I know its very hard not to pick but please try not to, put bandaids on your fingers or something.... if you MUST pick, open the pores up with hot water or steam, this opens the pores and GENTLY go around the pustule and ever better idea is to go for a facial bi-weeky then monthly after a series of 6, as the Esthetician will do exractions that will not create or leave scars, papules, milia and commedones must be gently pryed out of the pore while the pore is open, then once removed the pore must be closed properly with cold compress and an application of astringent or toner to restore the ph balance of the skin. Drink plenty of water.... typically eating habits do not have lot to do with the texture of the skin but water cleanses..... internally and externally, this is your best resource. keep your fingers away from your skin!

I got married to an 18 year old girl when I was 23. There was nothing wrong with it at the time. She seemed mature and with it. She acted straight laced and proper. She started college, graduated, and then got a minimum-wage job because the job market sucks. It turns out that she was not mature enough to really handle the responsibility of marriage though. The way she put it, she never got the chance to "play" and "rebel" because we got married so young. When she turned 24 she began hanging out in bars during the day instead of working and acting like she wasn't married. This eventually led to cheating, and STDs (which is how I found out about it). Needless to say, we are divorced now. So, 18 and 23 is fine. Just make sure that everyone is mature enough if you plan on getting married. The only problem with the age gap is how much of your life you are ready for and have set in stone. Think about what your goals were at 18, then think about your goals now. Be careful. People can change a lot… especially between 18 and 30

There is no magic age at which scars heal or don't heal, so whether you're 18 years old has nothing to do with it. It depends on how deep the scar is, how old it is, what caused it, etc. Each person is different. If you're concerned, ask a dermatologist.

Scars heal faster for girls who are young in age. Scars heal after your 18 they just take a lot longer to heal because they wont heal as fast.

There is a laser (I believe it's a CO2 laser) that's used by dermatologists to remove these scars later in life if you want to choose that route. It basically gives you a sunburn on your face and your body restores the skin.
