i agree. good question.too many studies we know the amswer to through common sense. i like vulcan though, he moons birmingham. where did you get that figure? i don't live there but i thought most of the restoration was done through private donations.

Those are called 'earmarks' and the New Democratic Congress is Ending them in their new package of lobbing and ethics reform.

However, Military spending is very much on the bloated side. Lindsey Grahm (R-SC) commented on a refrigerator that cost the Military several hundred thousand dollars "That looks Like it cost $99 at Lowes"

And you're okay with that? what about toilet seats that cost $800? I guess the pentagon wanted Thrones....

Cutting military spending is not destroying the military and downsizing it, it's cutting out the waste spending.

Yea a line item veto. Congress will implode before it gives ANY President that kind of public control of the budget, regardless of party.
