In Islam, God is not referred to as a female or a male. God is one, with no partner. But us human beings and the rest of the creations are created in partners to keep life going. A man marries a woman, they have kids, they die, and their kids follow their footsteps and have kids to keep life going. But God never dies, "he" is always there for you, for me, and for everybody. The reason why I use the word "he" is because the book of Islam (the Quran) was revealed in Arabic. The Arabic language is very accurate. Every word chosen in Quran has a very precise meaning, and can not be replaced by any other word. Anyways, in Arabic, if you are talking about someone who is not a female or a male, or you are addressing both sexes, or you are not sure of his/her gender, you use the word "he". May be when we translate it, it sounds like he is a male, which is of course wrong. But as I told you, every word chosen in Quran has a very precise meaning and can not be changed or translated a 100% correctly.

The religion of Abraham, as well as the religions springing from the Abrahamic texts, were the alleged "inspired" works of men. Thus you have statements about returning to the "father" rather than the "mother." There is a dire lack of the Feminine Divine in Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Save for Lilith in the Abrahamic texts, the first female in that mythos, and the only woman to demand equality, there is scarce little else of real female wisdom in these writings. The result being...

Many women, like myself, have left these religions behind. Some have welcomed Wicca and Paganism due to the fact that these spiritual paths honor the Feminine Divine and note correctly, that both are equal and that one cannot survive without the other.

This question made me think alot. In my opinion i think God is not female or male but his own just like angels, it says in the bible that angels have no gender. But some people would argue that he is male and that is perfectly fine. But if God was "female" i dont think that the bible or any other text would change at all. God is all knowing meaning he knows whats best for his people, whether god is female, male or anything else doesn't make any difference. We think of male in female in human terms but there are so many things we don't understand or know but God does, science and religion go hand in hand but we just dong know how until we can talk to God face to face. There are millions of questions in this world but questions about God are just questions and hypotheses, all you can do is rely on what is told to you in the bible. Other than that every answer you get is just going to be a human opinion not fact.

Because God is a Father figure. God made the man and the woman to carry the child. The man becomes one with the woman and a new person is created in the womb.

God is the Father, Word & Holy Spirit. When we are born of God, there is a unity in Christ through the Holy Spirit.

convinced i think of Islam is the ultimate faith and that i switched over. You study approximately Islam and communicate approximately it with friends and experience the prayer and fasting and that is all stable, yet there comes a time once you will possibly desire to undertaking your self and surely come to a determination needless to declare one way or the different. are you able to proceed as you have been without Islam, or will you reside as a Muslim wholeheartedly. Whichever selection makes you experience at peace and happy I recommend is the only to pass with.

If god was a female, things would be set up a lot differently. If god was a male, women would have a third breast, one in the middle of their back ..............for slow dancing

Until a hundred years ago, generic use of "He" meant both man and woman.

But Islam might mean it.
