Stop trying. Let her know that it hurts you that she doesn't respond back in kindness and then say, "I'm not gonna kill myself trying to make you be nice to me. It's not worth it anymore. " She obviously gets some sadistic satisfaction from it and you might enjoy playing the victim all the time too. Dysfunctional families are rampant these days. What ever it is you think she's not giving to you, perhaps you should just get it for yourself. If it's a sister your looking for, well, seek out another female with the qualities you wish your sister had and bond with her. That's what I had to do. Don't get me wrong, I love my sisters but we just don't think the same or deal with things the same and trying to change them is not going to accomplish anything. Just withdraw your kindness and efforts on your sister and give them to someone who deserves them. It sounds like maybe there's more to the story than your telling but It's not for me to press you. You know why she's mean to you and that's where the healing will begin. Good luck.

It depends on how old she is and how old you are if you are a close age and still in your teens, smack her, tell her to stop being a b**ch, and lock your self in your room until she calms down or go to a friends house. Or if you are far apart like she is 16 and you are 5 or more years younger, complain to the parents and see what they do about it. and finally if you are both older than 18 drive away from her and go back to your place and if you dont have a place go to a buddies house for a day or 2

You should stop being soooooooooo nice to her and you should ignore her. If she reacts to that then maybe she was just taking advantage of your kindness.
Maybe deep down she does care about you, but she enjoys bullying you more.

Just keep being nice to her, and show her your the better person, don't stoop to her level.

There is nothing greater than love.Your nice attitude will improve her.Go ahead she is your sister.May be due to inferiority complex or more love to you be parents etc etc,,,

Tell her she's really mean and it hurts your feelings and you want to know why she is so angry? If this doesn't work, just ignore her for awhile and see what happens.
