your g/f tells you she needs time alone?

It means she has stuff to take care of, not necessarily a man...maybe internal issues. I suggest you speak to her before you choose to give her that time, tell her she should know you are interested in her and will be there for her and because of your feelings for her you will stay away for as long as she needs you to, but to be mindful about your feelings, which also count. Good luck hon!

It could mean a few things...

It could mean that she feels like you are being too clingy. In which case give her some space but let her know you are still there for her.
It could mean she wants to break up but doesn't want to say it. Ask her upfront if that's what she wants. If she hesitates when you ask her, then you know.
It could mean she has a lot on her mind/plate right now and she needs some time to get things straightened out.
It could mean that she needs to think about your relationship and where it's going.

It's tough to know for sure based on your question so try giving her some space for a bit and then asking her what is wrong and if there is anything you can do to help solve the problem. Tell her you really care for her and will be there for her no matter what (but only if you really feel that way of course).

Good luck,
Pepper

It means you might be crowding her and she can't get some things done. She just wants to relax and get some personal things done. Just let her have her time and don't bug her during that time.

maybe something happened inside her house or she's having a hard time dealing with something. but if she needs the time, give her the time, and she'll talk to you when she is ready.

it means there's someone else she is interested in and wants to see what happens, but she doesn't want to lose you, just in case. OR, it means you're smothering her and u need to back off.

Pack your bags. "Some time" is never a good thing. She wants out.

She wants time away from you. Not necessarily by herself, just not with you.
