Biblically speaking, Hell is a temporary holding place of torment, in the Earth, for people awaiting judgement to the Lake of Fire (Rev20:13-15;Lk 16:22-23;2Pet2:4). Heaven is where God lives. We can not experience Heaven until after Judgement. And NO experience on Earth can compare to the degree of torment in Hell.

Heaven and hell are both in the now. That is, while you are living your life, you already experience both depending on how you live your life. Make bad decisions and you suffer the consequences (hell), make good ones and that comes back to you too in a good way (heaven). Life is what YOU make it. And the goal is towards perfection. And as long as we lose our way or are not yet "there", we go back again and again to experience both.
Who discovered them? We realize where it is the more we live and learn.

Depends on your spiritual beliefs. Christians believe in a literal "heaven" and "hell". Spiritualists believe heaven is within you at all times. Some believe that heaven and hell are here on earth in everyday living. And some don't believe in either at all.

Hell is right here on earth because we have to live in a world full of crime, hatred, diseases, war, etc.
Heaven is yet to come.

hell is where you are, so is heaven
it's your choice how to live, you can create a chaos or a paradise but need to engage others, and how you live determines the outcome, even if born in worst place on earth you still have choice and can smile and love others
