you should not cheat, why would you want to be with another guy for one night when the guy you like is sitting at home. Plus, you don't want to lower yourself just becuase your boyfriend had one lapse in judgement do you??

I want to answer this, but am having a hard time. All I can do is sit here and shake my head. Do you really feel that your cheating on him will make things all better? How would you feel about yourself after you did this? Getting even shouldn't even be part of a relationship. But then I don't think cheating should be either. I would say that a better way to get even would be to get out of the relationship. See how sorry he is then.

if you have to question wether you should or not then dont.
i know that situation your in, and if you really wanted to then you would know because you would be REALLY REALLY angry and wanting revenge.
you can cope with it better because you are in the process of forgiving him which means you dont have to 'get even'.
plus, if you do, then he might think he never did anything bad, because your 'even' he might start thinking he did nothing wrong, which is obviously not true!!
cheating with another man when your boyfriend knows might make it awkward and worse. its better that to make things right you start over again and enforce a more truthful relationship which will, in time, make you be able to trust him again.
i hope this helps and you can work it out together like you plan to. good luck =)

No, two wrongs never make a right. Deciding to stay with this, guy is your choice, but i wouldn't make it lightly. You could say that all people are only as faithful as their options but one who's done it before will do it again whether to you or not. Besides, if he's willing to dole you out to make it "even" he doesn't care as much about you as he says.

Two wrongs do not make a right. Do not step down to his standards. Maintain your dignity. Move forward but don't stoop to his cheating level. And as far as 'he said' you could have a one-night-stand...do not believe it. You will be as bad as him. You would never hear the end of it.

no. that is a very big no no. he said he's truly sorry for what he did, right? well, then just kiss and make up for it. don't go out and cheat on him. that is the wrong thing to do. just forgive him and work things out.

that's stupid, you should just break up with him. anyone who cheats and then tells you that you should do it too, to make it even, doesn't care about the relationship at all. he will cheat again and do you really want someone like that?

Hell no. He is only saying that so that later on down the road when things don't work out, he can say "Well, you did it too". Have much more respect for yourself and dump him!

Have him back, make him suffer and have a one night stand behind his back without his consent! See how he likes it when you tell him, just as he thought that everything was OK!!!!
