BIG clue that she may be hypothyroid, since a diseased thyroid causes your temperature to fall due to a lowered metabolism. And most docs will only test the T4 and TSH and proclaim by those lousy labs that she's "normal". Don't fall for it. Insist on the FREE T3 and FREE T4. There are several possibilities from an infectious cause to a circulation problem to a thyroid disorder. I suggest you take her to her physician to be checked out.

Have her thyroid checked as well as having her checked for scleraderma.
