I've spent $400.00 on dental removal of teeth and cleaning. Bad breath returned immediately. I have tooth paste and mouth spray, that I try to use daily.

Did your dog have a physical? Bad breath can be a symptom of health problems. If the dogs dental care is up to date and the dog is healthy I would look at what you are feeding the dog. Poor quality food can give a dog bad breath. Our pets need quality pet food. Read the ingredients list and learn what the stuff on there is and what it does (or does not do) to/for our pets. A quick pet food 101. If the pet food contains corn/corn products or by products it is a poor quality food. Do not pay attention to advertising, they all say there food is great. Corn is a filler that can trigger skin problems. (allergies, skin problems, itching and excessive shedding) By products is anything from an animal not fit for human consumption, including cancerous tissue. Quality foods have meat as the first ingredient. California Natural, Solid Gold, Innova and Merrick are a few of the best brands available. Did the doctor put her on antibiotics? Gingivitis is often caused by a bacterial infection that makes the gums really red and damages teeth. If the infection is left long enough, the infection can spread to the bloodstream. That would be very bad. If the vet did give your dog antibiotics, it will take a few days for them to work. Be sure to finish off the entire dose, or the infection may not clear up completely. The answers about diet change may work, but some studies show that feeding wet vs dry food doesn't make a huge difference (when the dog chews dry food, it still gets soggy and sticks to their teeth). Keep up the regular brushing, and good luck!!

Check the type of bones you give your dog. I've given some that make my dogs have dog breath. You may need to change the food you are giving him/her. After trying that, if it doesn't work then I'd ask the vet. Maybe it's something they can determine.

buy a toothbrush for it from like a pet store and some dog toothpaste and brush its teeth or you can get some treats for it that can stop bad breath but those smell worse then the breath.

Give it one of those bones to improve bad breath, give it a higher quality dog food, and brush its teeth daily.

It's probably her diet. Try feeding her a high quality dog food. Don't give her any human food. If you already do that, then I have no idea.

By him a bone that was made for bad breath, they are cheap, will let you dog have fun chewing on it, and will make his/her breath smell great!
