So my boyfriend and I are home from college only for about 3 more days....He lives not far from me and i called him last night and asked him if we could hang out. He told me sure he'd hang out Saturday morning and we could go out to breakfast at 9:00. Well i called him at 9:00 and he told me to come later because he was sleeping. I said ok i'll come at 10:00 and he said no come around 12:00. I said...but you have work at 3:00 today. He said it's fine we would still have 2 hours. So i went out to breakfast by myself and about...20 minuites ago i got a phone call from him telling me he could not see me today because he had a lot to do and was helping his mom around the house. Does this seem a bit "strange" to you?? or am i just looking at it to deeply. PLEASE HELP....he has done this to me in the past...i'm confused?

He only sees his mom a little bit too while at college so she may want to spend some time alone with him also. Perhaps be having him do some work around the house this is her way of having him around. Do not be jealous of him spending time with his family. If you two have a good relationship and are capable of communcating honestly to one and other then he is doing nothing wrong and in fact doing something nice for his mother. Trust the poor guy and give him a break.

Women often over analyze situations and tend to think everything has to do with them somehow. Obviously you don't know your boyfriend well enough to know how his home life relationships are, because something is going on there that he's not talking about. You should be asking him about what is going on to find out anything. And please, don't go behind his back and ask his mother or other people who know him before going to him about it, you'll just run the risk of alienating him.
