I am standing next to a coworker at lunch when she makes a joke and i say something smart allek. for about 5-10 seconds we just stand there looking in each others eyes and i see her eyes dart back and forth looking at both my eyes and then she looks at my mouth. but then she says something back and goes back to what she was doing. we're good friends and talk a lot, but then sometimes theres these moments when we our eyes lock and theres a feeling i can't describe. is this sexual tension between us or just in my head? this has been going on since right when we met at work at the end of october when i look over at her from across the cubicles and she looked over at me and we became instant friends along with friendly flirting. shes always touching me and winking at me. everyone at work knows we're good friends. i really like her a lot. yesterday when we were sitting and talking i was scowling and she looked at me and brushed her finger along my forhead. it was so soft. and yes im a grl

Wow! It sounds like there are definitely some sparks.. but it seems very mutual! The fact that the 2 of you work together makes things complicated though. Good thing is that the 2 of you are friends and girls can work through stuff like this I think without sabotaging the possibility of remaining friends.. even if you confront her about this. If this flirting continues to happen.. I would definitely bring it up sometime and ask her. If you approach it w/ a open-minded, honest approach then she will probably appreciate that and give you the same type of response. I'm sure you can both still be friends too even if she weirds out and doesn't feel that way as long as you don't approach w/ too much seriousness like it's a huge deal. Hopefully this helps.
