A week ago i told a friend of mine that it would be better that we didn't talk so i can get over my crush on him since he's in a long distance relationship with another girl, as a matter of fact, she's in the Phillipines and he's here in the US. Before this happened, we joked around about hooking up, but then i felt bad and hurt about us joking about it. I told him that i really wanted to do it since i like him, but he has a gf and that it wouldn't be wise if we did it. Anyway, i got angry with him and texted him calling him a "dog" and that i didn't want to have anything to do with him, then later i apologized via text. Then three days ago, I wrote him a letter telling him how i felt hurt about us joking around, and the fact we just treat each other as professionals and he didn't even say hi or acknowledge that he got the letter. He didn't even say anything at all and still hasn't. Yesterday, I came up to desk to say hi but he's ignoring me. What do you think he's thinking?

I think your friend is being childish. You were a good person to say sorry so i guess he was not much of a friend. So now turn the table just let him come to you if he wants the friendship to mend.Let him tell you why he is acting like a two year old .PS if you emailed your feeling to him maybe he did not get it as sometime letters go missing in cyber space.Just wait on him now .But dont put your life on hold either for him

I think he is thinking he has done something wrong. He obviously does not have the social skills to deal with the situation. All he needs to do is apologize, saying he realizs that he should not do such things. Obviously he is not "there" yet...
...and, to make yourself certain of what kind of man he is (just for your own personal information), does this lady in the Phillippines really exist? Sometimes people invent stories to keep others away and to avoid a personal relationship -- and sometimes they choose to have a realtionship at distance because it affords them the chance to say they are involved without actually being involved... in other words, they dangle things in front of other people to avoid commitment...
Ignore him back... it does not sound that you are deeply hurt ...just smitten, which is valid and ok ... but, even if you could get him to drop his defenses,, you would be happier, I am sure, with someone warmer and more honest...
Good Luck to you!

I think he's a fool and showing his ignorance for doing the mail-order-girlfriend thing when he's got you right under his nose.
You want to get his attention? Ignore him. That drives a guy like that nuts. If you can pull it off...hook up with someone else. He's actually not worth it.

You're giving this Dude too many mixed signals...take more time to figure out what you want...THEN communicate that to him.
Sounds like you may be thinking out loud..letting him know your every thought is just too premature. He's uncomfortable with the drama.
Just relax...apologize to him for revealing too much. Ask him if he'd like to start over again...clean slate.

He is thinking he doesn't want to touch anything to do with you with a ten foot pole. Yes he is angry at you, you attacked him. Sometimes just saying you are sorry doesn't put things back to where they were before.

i think hes trying to figure whats going on in your head also, but
respect that he doesnt want to cheat. most guys arent like that. he sounds like a good guy if he doesnt cheat.
dont try to be more than a friend. it will probably confuse him for life if he tries to be more than just a friend with more than one person.
ive been in both your positions.

He wants you to leave him alone. You are very clingy. Get yourself a boyfriend who is not attached to somebody else.
