I have one tatoo on each breast, on myleft breast is my name and on my right breast is my ex initial ( I known him since age 7), I like my tatoos because I have nice size breast 42D and nice shape; but, my ex and I are no longer together. Should I get his initial off? Should I keep it? Should I fix it (its fixable)? And if I do get it off, where do I go? Who do I talk to? What is safe?

I'd just get a nice coverup on it if you're not comfortable having his initals now (I also highly doubt any man you see after him will appreciate it).
I think just getting something nice to go over it, that means a lot to you now, would be the easiest route.
It'd be a lot easier than getting it lasered off.

You should get it covered up. Find a design you like and go talk to a tatoo artist on the subject. ask them how well it will cover it up and the best ways and colors needed to do so and see if it fits with what you want. I had a tatoo of a rose and my ex wifes name on a scroll wraped around it. I had the scroll covered with a snake and you cant see the name under it at all.

If it's just an initial, depending on the size, color and detail of the tattoo, I recommend a cover-up. You can go to any reputable artist and they will/or should be able to provide you with some ideas. They see this sort of thing all the time, they'll have an idea or two for you.

depending on how bright or small his initials are, cover it up with something pretty, so some other guy won't make it an issue, you know it will happen. But if you want to get it removed, go to a dermatologist for sure, it's expensive though, hope you have a full savings acct.I think, since you have know him for so long that you should just hide it, because YOU will know it's still there. A symbol of someone special is meaningful for you, keep it, just hide it somehow.

If its fixable I'd fix it personally......

Also, the main problem with initials is you dont always get to stay with the one who had those initials.....

Mine are about me, and my surroundings..... my wife felt the same way even though we'd been married for a decade when we got our last ones......

How about using the initial in another word like 'naughty' or 'sexy' or 'angel/devil'. Something that will make you smile and forget the ex's initial was ever there?
