The best way, I've learned over the years, to shape and tone my thighs is walking and bike riding. Now, be advised that depending on your body frame, your thighs may never be skinny. Please learn to accept who you are for all your own unique and wonderful qualities.

Girl, I have the same problem. My thighs are kinda heavy and my fiance and i are trying to lose some weight and eat healthier (new years resolution) and he suggested that machine at the gym (dont know what its called) where you lay on ur stomach and put your feet behind this bar and straighten ur legs and then bend them back up towards ur butt. This will work the back of your thighs and also walking on the treadmill, doesnt have to be running or anything, just a lot of walking and make the treadmill like you are walking up a hill. Also, just walking outside, so if you have a dog or something u can walk him/her or go rollerblading. My brother did that the it took the weight right off. Good luck and keep us posted!

I'm right there with you girl! It is SO hard to lose weight in the thighs! The best thing that has worked for me is walking fast on a treadmill with it at a level 3 or 4 incline for about 30 minutes, 4 times per week. After that I do about 50 lunges and squats. Here's something my friends and I do and we have ALL noticed a difference. Every time you go to use the ladies room, do 20 squats. It sounds silly, but it incorporates exercise into your daily routine. After about a week you WILL notice! For instructions on how to do a proper squat, visit http://www.stumptuous.com/cms/displayarticle.php?aid=54. Good luck sweetie!

Exercise your legs everyday by stretching your legs in front of you (like you're kicking straight up but gently and slowly) one at a time. Arms straight out to help you maintain your balance. Like 10-20 stretches each leg. Start with only like 10 and then work your way up gradually. Then do the same but sideways. Put your right hand against the wall and gently pick up your left leg as high as it could go. If it hurts then you are putting your legs up too high. Ten to 20 times each side. Remember to work your way up. By doing this daily it helps tone up your thighs and you could lose some inches.

You should never been embarrassed about what they have and you have not. I understand what you mean but be happy with your body, Stick thin girls have no curves or things like that nothing to hold on to, If you really would like to get some weight off you can get a lateral thigh trainer i have one it makes them curvey and have a nice shape not just skinny hope that i have helped.xox

Spot exercises (like exercising your legs) aren't going to get fat off the legs or thighs. You have to do overall weight loss, and the fat will disappear.

Although not a hard and fast rule, females tend to store fat in the rump (rear) and on the thighs, while males tend to store it in the stomach / abdomen area.

Good luck!

this is kinda hard to say in words, but here is an excersive for your thighs:
1. sit on a chair and lock your legs together.
2. lift your legs/thighs off the ground and do that like 15 times. it really helps!
