Ok so I met this girl last week at the pool hall. I got her number and we were flirting all night. I promised i'd call her this weekend and we'd go out on a date. Well my car broke down yesterday. So what do i do cuz i really don't want her to pick me up i'll feel cheap and i wouldn't want to ruin a potential relationship because this girl was absolutely gorgeous and had personality to go with it. So what do i say when i call that won't make me look bad?

Simple. You should tell her the truth. Let her know that since you promised her you'd take her out, that you're still going. Let her know someone threw a monkey wrench in your plans. She'll understand even if she has to pick you up. It's not like thats going to be a routine. You are still paying for everything right? Females like honesty, always remember that!

Be honest with her and if she is meant to go out with you she will say its ok i have a car we can take mine if she freaks out well run cause this is not a good sign of things to come .Things happen but at least you called her .Girls like the honest ones .Good luck .

if you really like her, tell her the truth, and maybe she can help you come up with some ideas to figure something out. or, borrow a friends car and tell her your car broke down... and sometimes.. walking around at nighttime isnt so bad. hah good luck. (=

Then tell her of your situation and tell her you want to make this up to her when you get your car fixed. Stay in contact with her so she knows you are not just feeding her a line.

first of all ask a friend for their car. if not then just tell her ur situation and ask her if she minds piking u up its much beter then not showing up, she might think that it a lie n u just dont want to see her, cheap is not the word that i woud use i woud say honest, my boyfriend crashed his car and he was not able to pick me up for dates so i did and i knew that he realy wanted to be with me cuz he didn't mind me piking him up.

Be honest,arrange something else until your car gets fixed rather than totally cancel,but definitely ring her,otherwise shell think your unreliable

first call a buddy to see if you can borrow their car. then if you can call are and ask her out to go to a movie or somethin. but if you cant find a car call her and ask her if she can come over and hang out and if you dont want her to come over still call her
