First of all.. religion is not a person but a belief. so i am not a "belief" Also religions can also be of satan, which is not the one I serve. Because I serve the Almighty God through His son Jesus..

I am a Christian which is a person who walks in the footsteps of Christ, as He layed out the path for us while He was walking this earth, before He was crucified and then ressurected and assended into the the kingdom of His Father God.

My belief is that Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary, and was the Messaiah, the son of God, the word of God come to us in the flesh, and is the only way to heaven, through accepting Him as the son of God, and who died on the cross for our sins and then rose from the dead and is alive again with us today.

I am not a religion, but a Christian who lives my life sharing the word of God the way God intended me to.

So don't fool yourself pal.

hmm..I don't know what you have encountered with God believers that you are asking this question. So in the definition that you have put of religion yes I am "religious". But I guess I just hate the word association because it brings so much baggage of stuffy old traditions etc that past "religious" people have done in the name of "God". Yeah I fully believe in God but I am young adult, I experience what you call "religion" now in a different way and I don't want the baggage of word association going with it. Good question though!

Friend you are the one fooled, not me, I am not religious, I am a Christian, There is a big difference in religion & salvation, Religion can kill a person but salvation won't, So try to use a better defintion then what you did. Now who is the fool. To Mr. Black athiests, to you it is stupid, Because you have no sense of reality, Religions can be clasified in over a thousand different faiths, But True salvation is In God Through Jesus Christ. & there is Only ONE TRUTH. & not over a thousand truths, so go back to your little coloring books Until your mind can comprehend this statement. I have probably been serving God In True salvation then what your age is, & if not I am prtty much sure I am older that you, I am 57 & been serving God almost 37 yrs. Now come back when you grow up.

Jas 1:27
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

Why do we make religion out to be something bad? When you consider what scripture says about real religion, there is nothing objectionable.

In Christian realms "religion" means empty motions without any real meaning; It's "posing." The religious leaders in Christ's day were the ones who orchestrated His murder contrary to their own religion.

Amen! Whoever first tried to distinguish Christianity from Religion was way off-base. Religion is religion. Period.

Deists are not religious, but believe in God. Buddhism is a religion, but is non-theistic.
