If you really love her find a way to let her know how you feel. If she has mutual feelings for you as well I trust you will both be able to figure out how to handle the conflict with the brother.

Are you or have you always also been friends with her? If you are still friends w/ her then you can continue to talk w/ her and have at least some contact. But if you are not friends w/ her and only get to see her through this guy who you are no longer friends with then this could present some problems. Being in love w/ her is huge; at the same time it's not smart to go back and try to be friends w/ this guy just b/c you want to be closer to her. This could be trouble later and it's not fair for him or for you to pretend to want to be his friend. Unfortunately, I think that it's best if you run into her at other places.. If you know where she hangs out, or have some other mutual friends you can try to be closer to her in this way. Otherwise, hopefully things will work out naturally between you and this guy and you could become friends b/c you both want to again. This is the best solution, but shouldn't be forced.

this is what we the men do in zimbabadodaque, they skip around in their toga sheets with banana's on our heads. then they sing to the brother of the girl and ask him to bless their relationship. if it is bless then they can be married, and if it's not blessed then they are thrown into a puddle of elephant feces and rolled around for 4 hours and then layed out in the sun for 6 days. by that time the man that has interest in the woman has pretty much given up on her.

if you like her and if she also likes you, then trust me, you have to make her brother a friend not only her brother her whole family.

Fourteen years ago i had the same problem. So I kept my mouth shut, so as not to offend my friend. To this day, i regret not saying anything.
