who has more power here, some trained CPR person, or the god who they believe in?

if a man revives believer, would then the hero become "god" in the next "life" now owed to this person

is the life now "heaven" on earth?

and why did 'god' allow the death, or not stop the resuscitation?

I could go on, and on

great answers so far, mostly punditry but bravo anyways

I think you missed my point - religious people find ways to claim a person is really an extension of god, failing to see that it's within the power of our choices and less about divine intervention, and often there are no prayers to revive just people showing compassion without religion all together

Everything that happends to us in life has a purpose. Perhaps when a Non believer is brought back to life by resesitation, they can re evaluate the life they lived and turn it around and live for the Lord and accpet Him as their personal Savior.

Perhaps the Christian had some un finished business or through their own death and resesitaiton helped a family member turn their life over to the Lord. All things are for the glory of God if you can turn them around for his glory.

1 Corinthians 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Death is not a bad thing. It too is for the glory of God. It is an extension of life and is not to be feard but celebrated. You only fear death if you are a lost soul living without Jesus as your personal Savior, or a loved own or friend has died lost and did nto have Jeusus as their personal Savior.

Real Christians know that God is always in complete control because they gave that control to God when they accepted Jesus as their personal Savior, and their life and body no longer belongs to them but to the Holy Ghost. Praise the Lord!

1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

If you think about it this way, we all have a purpose, all of us. God knows and has the final say on who dies and who lives. The CPR can save a live or not, it depends on if your time is up. However, saving a life is doing God's work, take a life, like murder or capital punishment is a sin and not a good thing. There is only one God. Although, good deeds do not go unnoticed nobody ever becomes a God. God bless.

When someone is resuscitated, they are revived before death. Once you die, that's it. Scripture says that we are appointed to die ONCE, and then the judgment.

Resuscitation doesn't circumvent God's authority. Before the foundations of the world, before you were born, you were given a certain number of days to live. Resuscitation, or murder on the other side of the coin, doesn't take God by surprise, He knew the end from the beginning.

Resurrection and eternal life does not happen directly after death, except in Jesus' case (3 days). If you remember, Lazarus was dead for 4 days, Jesus brought him back to life, if he was living in eternity somewhere what good is there to make him alive on earth?

God does not want anyone to die: 2 Peter 3:9 "...he is patient with YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance." God does not want us to die, in fact, “God himself will be with [mankind]. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:3, 4) But in this system under the cruel ruler of this world (John 12:31; 14:30; 16:11) , death is inevitable.

Death does not come from God, it is his enemy and as his enemy, he disagrees with it. 1 Corinthians 15:26 "As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing."

Not all people are able to be resuscitated. If they are brought back, then they haven't finished their purpose in this life yet. We will all die but some will then be rewarded with life everlasting.

May God Bless you.

No, it's not denying us eternity. Just postponing it.

It's also giving us a chance to do more good in this world, and to bring Christ to more people.

So, it's a good thing.

Maybe that's why Jesus cried when He had to bring Lazarus back.
