Thats pretty awesome that he went in the potty. No matter what I do its hard to get my son (29 months) to go #2 in the toilet. But as far as peeing I usually bring my son when he wakes up in the morning, probably an half hour after he drank something, etc... Its going to take sometime to get them into the swing of things so just be patient. And whenever they go in the potty just congratulate them and then it will encourage them to keep using it. Whatever you do don't get frustrated...babies sense that and it discourages them from using the potty.

thats excellent! isn't it exciting. just keep on encouraging him, buy training pants or regular underwear and tell him to tell u when he has to urinate. use pulls up at night, i don't think pull ups really work so well in the day time, they too much like diapers. by the time he is 27 mos he should be trained.

The hardest part seems to have been overcome. Lots of patience and praise works best. (No pressure, just encouragement and praise.)

Just set him on the potty like after dinner or beore bed or after naps. you know the key times that someone would have to go so that he can actually feel it coming and then see what happens and sooner or later he will be able to tell you and go on his own,
