Life is strange--I had a friend who wanted to die because her little boy was hit by a car. She thought that he was going to die so she took a hand full of pills(upper). They rushed her to the hospital and put her in the Psyche ward. She got out and everything was OK.

Two years later her husband told her that he was leaving to be with this twenty year old. She could not handle the rejection and she told three pills, and she died.

I could not understand this, and I asked a doctor and he said that sometimes you can over do it. My friend flooding her body the first time with drugs and her mind said something is wrong. Do not digest these ingredients; so she lived. The next time three pills did not seem abnormal, so the ingredients were digested into her body.

I am not a doctor but do not give up hope for your cousin. Pray for him and that God will give you the strength to accept the outcome of your cousin's actions.

In the ER she will get her stomach pumped. She will then probably remain in the hospital for a few days with 24 hour supervision to make sure she is emotionally stable while her body heals from this trauma. They will want to know what caused her to do this and will probably suggest a counselor for her to start therapy with, which she needs badly if she deliberately OD'd.

She will have to have her stomach pumped, which involves a tube going down her throat and into her stomach. She might also have to drink some charcoal. After they get her so she is stable she will probably be admitted to the psychiatric ward of the hospital to get some help...

Hello =)

Well....

If she is a large person, and did not have them in her system long, then probably she will be fine.....

If she is small (under 150 lbs), and/or she kept them down for more than 2 hours, well....her liver has probably been damaged to some degree.

Chances are that she will recover, but she will be sick for a long, long time, possibly years.

If she is smaller than that, it may be ultimately fatal, but probably not immediately.

Namaste,

--Tom

They may pump her her stomach, yuk and ouch.

Hopefully this is the only thing that happens. After she goes home get her some mental health help....there is no reason to take this many of these unless your cousin was trying to hurt herself.

I don't know what to tell you! You are odviously concerned about your cousin. He/She might be in the hospital for awhile depending on how much she od-ed. You might just need to support your cousin and let he/she know how much you care for her!

An OD of any medication can be toxic. Medical help should be sought immediately.
