activated charcoal +/- stomach pump and Mucomyst (the only antidote for tylenol poisoning and this stuff will taste awful)... it smells like rotten eggs and diarrhea and she will have to drink a crap load of it (no pun intended).

I am Really Not Sure, it Will Need to Be looked Up to Know How to Proceed, To Hedge One's Bets, Probably Both Stomach Pumping and Activated Charcoal (Time is of the Essence), if I Remember Correctly, Acetaminophen Overdose Results In Delayed Liver Damage.

I Forgot About Mucomyst (Acetylcysteine), W W D.

If it really was 50 tablets, 500mg each, she'll get activated charcoal to drink. Stomach pumping is no longer recommended, but many do it anyway. That should be a high enough level to get her a hospitalization and at least two days' treatment with acetylcisteine. You'll know for sure when the blood level drawn 4 hours after ingestion is compared to a graph (nomogram). She'll get a psychiatric consultation. Hope her liver isn't damaged.

The first thing that will happen is she will be forced to consume activated charcoal to stop the absorption of the drug. Vomiting will naturally follow as this stuff is wretched. Next, she will have blood drawn to determine how much acetaminophen made it to her bloodstream - the results of blood tests will determine what treatment follows. At most, she could suffer liver failure and death. At best, she could come out unscathed with new found resources for dealing with depression that don't involve suicide attempts.

she can expect to have her stomach pumped, Tylenol in large doses can damage the liver, they will make her drink a large amount of charcoal to neutralize the tylenol and make it move through her system much faster, as a result she will have uncontollable diarrhea and possible vomiting.
