I like the language course for children, "Muzzy in Gandoland". It comes in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Gaelic, Esperanto, and Mandarin. I've just checked out the Mandarin version from the Library and was watching it with my Grandson about an hour ago.

Yes! i speak french too and i think the best way to add extra stimulation is to read some nooks with your children (depending how old they are) in french that way they see the words and apply it to modern culture. also most DVDs these days have a second language option and actually the movie will play in french. all sorts of fully french movies are available over the internet. instructional movies like "MUZZY" are used to teach non french speaking children to learn french and they can also be used to teach basic young child things like counting and colors. speaking french isnt always enough because just like learning to read in english, they need to learn to write in french to expand fluency. this will encourage them to think in french so they can visualize in the language.

There are a lot of things now...you can choose some DVDs or CDs with Christian stories, they are the best for children, there is no violence in them!
Take good care!
