in singapore- to get braces; private or government?

Question

there's 2 types of places we can go to; private or government.
for private, it's fast to get one but costly. for government, we have to wait for at least 2 years to get it, but it's cheap. am i right so far?and also, how much would each of them cost about?

Go for subsidized. If you have to ask how much it costs for private treatments without having your teeth checked, you probably can't afford it.
