Well, hes an ex now. I couldnt do it to him. So i just told him that he deserves better and said i was going to let him lead a better life than 1 with a cheat. This was done over email, because he is off-shore at the moment, we havnt been together long. But i did fall for him, I do regret everything that i did, and know being totally wan*ered is not an excuse. Just goes to show that even without problems in the relationship, there are still things that can make you cheat. (mine was 2 get back at a prior ex, who had cheated. i stooped to his level) Look at me now, boyfriendless, upset, lonely, all cuz of one stupid mistake.

So wierd, how people live their lives in virtual terms now.
Ive just had a look through your questions and you have catalogued an entire relationship breakup through Yahoo answers. Maybe you should have been talking to real people-your friends-rather than a bunch of strangers on the Internet.
A lot of people here wont really care, or will be quite callous about this situation.
Live and learn, good luck.

It's easy for people to be judgmental but we all do dumb things in life. This is the main way people learn, through trial and error. If you really have learned from your mistake it is a lesson well learned and the next relationship will be all the better for it.
If you really love this guy tell him you pucked up and have sincerely changed. It is possible for a relationship to recover form infidelity.
Don't just throw in the towel right away. Keep letting him know how you feel. If in time he still gives you the same message you may have to accept and move on; but in life you never know till you know so get back up, dust yourself off, and carry on. You'll be alright.
I admire your courage to own up to what you did. It is quite brave considering some of the immature answers you have gotten.
Best of wishes.

It's ok to make mistakes, you learn from them. I cheated on a bf of 3 years with his best friend in HIgh School. Now we are friends, but yeah I learned. I Know honesty is the best policy, if you feel attracted enough to cheat on your bf, then something is missing in your relationship and you are better off breaking it than cheating, so yeah is cliche but " you live, you learn" it is the only way...
Best of luck
We are all human, we all make mistakes :)

Well, hopefully you have learnt from your mistake and will now move on. Your main stumbling block was having too much to drink, which sadly leads to a lot of unfaithfulness. My advice wud be to cut back on the drink, (its too expensive and it tates awful anyway!), and vow to be faithful to the next guy you get hooked up with other wise you will only have heartache and loneliness all the while. Its up to you.

Oh you human being, why are you not perfect!! Everyone ***** up babe, I'm the queen of messing up. Although, LOL, I must say you've done it in spectacular fashion but put this one down to experience and try not to be too upset. You'll move on to better things.

Believe it or not, but you didn't make a mistake. You did what you did for a reason, and you probably needed this result. Good luck on the rest of your life.

serves you right, i had it done to me and it is not nice at all, you could`nt have loved him if you cheated on him, no way, he deserves better than you cause once a cheat always a cheat, you need to stop feeling sorry for yourself now because he is the injured party not you,
