I personally think it is very unattractive on women, and more unattractive on men. I always imagine it hurts to pierce a hole in your nose, and can't get over that ugly impression when I see one.

Everyone is going to have a different opinion. No matter what type of piercing you get, the opinions on body modification varies from person. That's how it's been and that's how it always will be. It's your nose...if you want it then just do it! Don't care what others think or say. Not everyone is going to approve of it, just like anything else. I have my eyebrow and my lip pierced and actually get complimented on them all the time. I do think it all depends on your age and how you present yourself. If your young then people ARE going to ridicule it but when you get older or if you are older, more people will be more accepting of it. Except in the job industry of course. As far as people assuming you race mix because of a nose piercing, that is complete BS. People don't judge you based on 1 little piercing. They judge based on how you dress and act. I know preppy snobs with piercings! My sister has her nosed peirced and she definately doesn't date black guys, she is far from trashy, and she also gets complimented for it. So I say just do it!

I have it. I think there are better piercings though. Like a high nostril. They're really cute if you like typical piercings.
I personally wish I'd see people doing more unique things.
...I don't see how people confuse a little stud on your nose that tends to be metal or a gem with a wart? That just seems a little silly and lacking of any sense of sight to be that confused.
You won't be characterized as trashy by anyone with a level of maturity above junior high.
Also, its not possible to blow something out of the hole of your nostril piercing unless you stretch it out. If that's the case girls need to stop piercing their navels because gross stuff gets trapped in their too (sweat, oil, debri from clothes).
Do your own thing girl. That's true class.

I personally have been thinking about getting one myself, I have wanted one for quite sometime!! Maybe I will get one this summer, who knows. Also, I am NOT trashy, sleazy, or gross...I have 2 children (ages 5 and 2) and I am getting married this June, and on top of that I have my own business!! So, I say that if you want one, then go for it and don't listen to anyone!!

it depends if you hav the right sort of nose for it, and its quite painfull, i watched my friend scream and cry lol, but it looks cute in a way and i suppose if it looks like a spot its coz of the stud your wearing in it, small ones are the cutest and nisest looking, big 1s look like warts and is a huge put off ,

good luck

I think it looks cute up close but at a distance it looks like you have a wart on your nose.

I think they look cute. I had one but it closed up. Nose rings look kind of gross but a stud looks good.
