It's normal for a dog to eat anything if he feels there is competition. But it's not good for him to eat cat food or bird seed. I doubt, tho, that he will actually eat enough to hurt himself, but you should try to keep him away from it.

This can be a problem, you should watch out for some symptoms that or may not be reversible. First has your dogs bark changed? If so continue to monitor for another week, watch for a definite "meow". Next look at your dogs coat, (not the one in the closet) any change here can be a real problem. What you may want to do is clip any feathers that may appear, this is to keep you dog on the ground. Try changing you pets diet and keeping him or her away from fish food, this combination can be very dangerous. Because although a Flying Fish Cat can be fun your family will not be very happy with you. Good luck and I hope this helped.

cat food is more nutricious than dog food and actually has a better taste....not that I would know personally...that is why your dog eats the cat food. The bird food however, I cant explain that. How does your dog get to it?

cat food should be ok but i don't think the bird food would do well for the dogs intestines. my dogs have always loved pounce fish flavored treats for cats. they literally beg when i give the cat some. i think cat food has more flavor than dog food. i'd say it's quite normal. WATCH WHAT THE DOG EATS THOUGH. some things can be hazardous. if your dog is eating these things than he will likely be attracted to other things which may cause harm. dogs are attracted to anti-freeze which will kill them.

Yes, it is normal for a dog to eat those things, as well as more.
My two dogs will eat anything in sight! They go crazy about cat food.
But you should refrain him/her from doing it and just stick to dog food and grass if you have an outdoor dog.

It's normal, don't worry. However, make sure that he gets his full serving of dog food each day to ensure that he's getting all of the nutrition he needs. Cats and birds require different nutrients than your dog, that's why they have separate food.

Otherwise, let him snack away. Make sure he doesn't get fat :)

In different worldwide places, they don't consume cows or %. or birds or fish. have you ever heard "i don't consume something with a face" or seen cartoons the place somebody gets a fish with the top nevertheless linked and that they might't consume it with those massive eyes staring up at them? human beings do not elect to consume issues that they might style an emotional connection with. for sure there are exceptions because of the fact human beings do each so often consume fish with the top nevertheless linked, or consume products off a pigs head. yet ordinarily, in case you have an emotional connection to the animal, you do not elect to consume it. On an factor word, there's a cannibalistic tribe interior the amazon which eats its kin. they are frightened of the assumption of one's physique being burned or laying interior the chilly, moist floor to be eaten with the aid of worms. Then even enable the physique rot a sprint so as that they might't savour it. yet they discover the assumption of one's physique being reincorporated into the bodies of their kin pleasing. So there are truthfully some exciting exceptions to what I stated above.
