Why every night I go to bed, I get up at 3:00am, and then fall back asleep? This always seems to happen when I sleep too late after studying? I get up at the same exact time and think for 10 or 15 minutes about my dream and go back to sleep.

If your body demands sleep, then sleep. During your time up, do a time table and focus on your studies. Don't waste time. Enjoy sleeping too. Don't force yourself staying awake. it's pointless. better make use of all your energy and be fresh from all those hours of sleep :)

yeah it's probably stress. You are thinking too much about school and exams and stuff like that. It'll probably go away once you're past all this. Good luck!

Because it's now a conscious thought, I would say that because you expect it, your body causes it to happen, which would explain why it only happens after a certain event - i.e. when you think it will happen.
