You can't determine the actual mark unless you know the marks of all the students in the class. A percentile ranking doesn't tell you whether you got 5% or 95%, only where you were in relation to the other students. If everyone else got 5% and you got 6%, you'd be in the top percentile, same as if everyone else got 97% and you got 98%.
