US embassy give me a blue sheet and give a stamp-"additional processing we will contact you as soon as we get result"-what's that mean? what kind of additional processing they need? and how much time they will take for processing?
I'm from Bangladesh, and i don't understand whether they permanently refuse me or not. I asked them if they need any additional paper,but they said no need.
I want to know that whether they permanently refuse me or not and if not how much time they will take for calling me.Please answer.

Additional Processing usually means that security checks were not yet completed or that the security checks and/or documentation you provided need further review. This can takes anywhere from a few weeks to a few months.

And yes they can still refuse you a visa if the security checks are unable to clear you or your documentation wasn't in order or falsified.

I think that it means they are going to check some more info before they decide to approve u or not. I had a friend and there was a coinsidence with her name with a woman who had commited a crime and they made some more researches but then they gave her the visa.
