i have been on paxil cr for 9 days and i have my good and bad days. Know i am fighting nausea and direha in the morning. Also tingling in left arm and leg

It usually takes 2 to 3 weeks for that type of drug to work regularly. But, if you're that ill every day, and you're having those symptoms of tingling or numbness, you should call your doctor or pharmacist and ask about it promptly.

You need to talk to your Dr about these side effects. It usually takes about 2 weeks when you first start on an antidepressant to start feeling the effects and for some maybe a month. By then you should start to feel your depression lift some. This may not be the best antidepressant for you if the side effects are too bad. The Dr will have to work with you to get the right one and the proper dosage for you. Talk to your Dr ....you must be a part of your treatment if it is going to work for you.

I've taken paxil in the past and it takes at least 4 weeks to really work, I didn't notice any side effects when I took it, but try taking it with a little milk or something in your tummy, it can help sometimes.

NOT SURE ABOUTTHE TINGLING - CALL YOUR DOCTOR AND MAKE SUR ETHAT'S OK...THE LOOSE STOOL SHOULD SUBSIDE IN A FEW WEEKS - DRINK LOTS OF COLD WATER - IT MIGHT HELP - AND EAT FIBER...I KNOWMOST PEOPLE EAT IT TO GO TO THE BATHROOM...BUT IT'LL BULK YOU UPO SO IT'S NOT DIARREAH...AND THE DEPRESSION SHOULD START TO LIFT AFTER 14-21 DAYS...IF YOU STILL FEEL NO BETTER AFTER 3 WEEKS GO BACK TO YOUR DOCTOR AND SEE IF HE CAN TRY ANOTHER MED...AGAIN THOUGH - YOU HAVE T O WAIT 2-3WEEKS TO SEE IF IT WORKS - I KNOW HOW PAINFUL DEPRESSION IS...HANG IN THERE - I PROMISE YOU'LL SEE BRIGHTER DAYS!!!
