Do you want to know if he wants to marry you, have kids and live happily after or is he interested in hanging out on dates and getting to know you better? I ask this because other people can't know the answer to what the guy is interested in and the guy doesn't really know if he "really likes YOU" until he gets to know YOU better.

I think it means, :"Do YOU get the same read on this that I do? I am hoping he really likes me, but I don't trust myself. Can you double check me? If you think I'm being delusional, will you tell me? I need to hear someone other than myself say that he seems to really like me."

There is a possibility, that she wants to go out with him and eventually wants to have a relationship with him. It could be also, that the girl doesn't have a lot of self esteem and knowing that a guy likes her boosts her self esteem. As far as looking for a marriage, it's a little bit to far fetched.

"Does he really like me?" often can depend on the tone of voice the girl/woman is using and who she is talking to. Girls' emotions are more delicate then guys' and they want security of the relationship more then anything. They would like to get to know YOU better as well but first you might want to just tell her you wan tto be friends so you can build up a safe friendship before anything else.

This usually means that they want to know you better unless you are under 15 then they might be fantasizing on marrying you or even sometimes they might not like you at all and say eeeeww DOES HE REALLY LIKE ME???? THAT"S GROSS!!!
