i have been going out with this girl for about a month. Everytime we try to go out our parents have some excuse for us not to go. I really like this girl and really want to be alone with her but our parents just dont like the idea of that. Any ideas on how to convince our parents to let us go out?

for you, its normal but for other people most specially parents of a teenage girl, no.

so if you really like this girl i suggest you take your time visiting her at her house with her parents or other members of her family to watch over you two, make your intentions known as genuine... this is to prove you are respectful of other people and trust-worthy.

How old are you?

If you tell me than I can probably answer your question.

Usually it's because you're parents are a) overprotective, or b) they think you're too young to date.

if a), then sneak out sometime with your girl, if she really loves you she'll do that for you.

if b), wait a few more months

How old are you? Your parents are trying to keep you from having to make adult decisions when you are still young. Adult choices=adult decisions....Such as what to name the baby....
