Is this some sort of a pride thing or is it because thay think that the guy is supposed too be the one who calls. And why does the man always have to pay on dates?.What ever happened to womans lib.It looks like they only use it for whatever is within there best interest. wich is most often coldly them selves.What is a guy to do?.Are all women this way?I dont want to turn gay but what should make sence never does! .

There isn't a rule of who should call first or what, we should all just be spontaneous when it come's to liking someone. But, it is true that guys always have to pay when taking someone out on a date...that is more than normal! My mother never paid for anything in her life while she was dating! Now, thats got to stand for something... :)

I have always thought it should go both ways. When my husband and I were dating we took turns paying for the date. As far as the woman sitting at home waiting for the man to call, I think that is ridiculous. If you want to talk to him just call him.

We don't call men because, yes, he is supposed to be the one who calls. So get with the program and fall in line. You have to pay on dates because, again, you are supposed to. Women's lib was supposed to give us an equal footing in the job market and that is obviously not working. I'm pretty sure somewhere along the line men took over the women's lib movement and twisted it so that we are now expected to still get crappy wages and split costs evenly with men. Women's lib is a crock. I think that perhaps you should turn gay since all your sympathy seems to lie with the poor downtrodden men. I apologize in advance if I happen to offend anyone.

You're just dating the wrong women then. I called my man and when he was broke, I paid plenty of times. I married that man too. You need a ballsy girl. Shove those prissy little things aside and get a tomboy or something.

I have to agree with "that one girl" comment. When you ask for her number, give her yours. I think us women are afraid to call the first time. I don't think the man should have to pay for every date, it should be shared. If he asks, he pays, if she asks, she pays. At least she should make an effort.
