Does anybody know about common problems people have had with their neons?
My car has major moisture issues! The trunk leaks, and my windows are hopelessly foggy in the morning. (I use the defrost, and the heat but it takes longer than I would like.) I also have tan seats, and water stains them, it's terrible

I have a 04 SX 2.0 that had a leaky trunk/back floor.I found that the wiring for the tail light was going between the body and the black foam weatherstripping causing water to trickle in alongside the wiring.I took the tail light off and repositioned the wires from under the foam, which slowed the leak down.I then noticed that the foam had an imprint from the wires,so I gently as possible pealed the foam off ,then once off, gave the area a good dose of caulking and replaced the foam while the caulking is wet.Its been almost a year since there's been any water problems

The leaky trunk is most likely the cause of the foggy windows. I suggest you get that leak fixed, take everything that is wet out of that area and thoroughly dry everything before you put it back in.
You might be able to see where it leaks by examining the weatherstip that goes around the liftgate opening. If you can't find it yourself take it to a body repair shop and pay a little bit to have them fix it or you will soon have rust and mold developing in the trunk area. It will be worth it to have it done....

Neons often leak water into the trunk from around the tail lights. There is an easy do it yourself fix posted in the forums at www.neons.org.

(Yes, I have experienced this)

PS: Window steam can come from water seeping into the car from anywhere.

Cheers

as far as the foggy windows go, do not have the air recirculating. Have fresh air coming in and turning on the a/c helps with that also.

if you fix the leaks the rest will take care if it's self. When your car leaks, water gets inside the vehicle, and produces moisture...it is usually real bad on cold mornings after rain....fix your seals(ie,trunk weatherstrips, sunroof, drip rail) and quit dealing w\ fog

you might need to have your weather stripping checked out, you cant go back on the dealer though because your 36 month warranty is up, buy rainex for fogg and apply to your windows once a wek from autozone or napa auto parts

whilst a transmission gets low on fluid and starts off to slip, what's slipping is the grab packs. whilst this occurs, the clutches positioned on out immediately. in this occasion, you will might desire to get rid of the transmission and replace the grab packs (transmission overhaul).
