How do you get more popular in school in 6th grade? I can relate to you because I always wanted popularity. I would always keep to myself and no one messed with me, I'm like a loner, I guess you can say. This is what I observed: be disrespectful to authority, skip class, smoke, sleep around, get hooked on drugs, get into fights, threaten people, be really mean, become friends with the tough guy (whether you're a female or male) in school. Thoose are things I've seen throughout my middle school career, do I suggest doing any of them? Definately not, it's not worth it. My only suggestion is to be yourself and to do things so that when you grow up, you won't have any regrets. Maybe you should try joining something that the memebers would have something in common with you. As long as YOU feel popular, it really donesn't matter what other people see you as. And if you think middle school is difficult, wait until high school. Good luck. :)
Peace and Happiness.

You shouldn't worry about this problem. Give it time, you'll be fine even without being popular. I remember when I was in 6th grade. I wasn't popular either. But, I didn't let that bother me. If people want to be your friend, then they must like you for being "you", not someone who they can use in order to gain popularity for themselves. Just be yourself and before you know it, you'll be a "friend magnet". Worry about being popular in another lifetime. Life is too short to think about something that petty right now. Trust me on this!!!

Be confidant, even if you're not, be aloof and be nice to everyone. Dress as well as you can, hang out with those who you think are cool and most of all don't think about it. The coolest people I knew in 6th grade (the girls I didn't hang out with....yet) I found out later were just as insecure as i was if not more because of their own problems. People rarely know when they're "cool", its true that you might hav ean idea whether people like you but no on etells anyone else that tehy thinkthey're cool. RELAX

First, pay attention. (That means including things like selecting the right group to ask your question in. This is the homeschooling section, which means that school is at home. If you're not popular at home... eek)

But seriously, pay attention to what others do, what others react positively to and what they act negatively to.

Then, make sure you are being the kind of person you would want to be around. If you want more friends, be more of a friend.

Be youself, be nice and be friendly....go out of YOUR way to the meet NEW people.

It's hard to be popular if you stay within your own group of friends or by yourself all the time.
