I'm not supposed to eat anything that has more than 12 grams of sugar in a serving. The grams are usually lited in the nutritional analysis, but I've never seen how many ACTUAL grams of sugar there are in sugar.

1 teaspoon of sugar equals 4 grams. 1 teaspoon of sugar has about 16 calories.

About 9 grams to a teaspoon

You'd have to get a teaspoon of sugar and weigh it.

Reason being is that grams is a weight measurement and a teaspoon is a volumetic measurement. They don't directly relate.
