i am going for a valentine break in paris from 16th-18th feb and want to visit some romantic places...any sugg

Take the boat called bateau-mouche that makes a trip on the Seine. You get to see a lot a beautiful monuments and as you pass under a bridge (I don't remember which one) the guide tells you that your secret wish will be granted if you kiss your lover when you are right under the bridge and if you keep your eyes tightly closed. You can find different companies in the same location, which is in the center of Paris near l'Ile de la cité.
If you go to Notre-Dame and you want to take a drink in a relaxing, romantic french café WITHOUT being surrounded by tourists and stripped of all your money, just cross the river to the south and find a seat in Café Panis (21 quai Montebello, in the 5th arrondissement). It looks classy (but is affordable) so it's quiet plus you have a great view on Notre Dame and its surroundings.
On the Champs Elysées, take tea at Ladurée (75 avenue des Champs Elysées, 8th arrondissement), they are worldwide famous for their macarons. It's more expensive than a croissant in a bakery but it's really worth it. Plus you spend quality time with your sweet heart in a beautiful cosy intimate place. Then go to the Petit Palais museum, near the Champs-Elysées-Clémenceau subway station (the entrance is free if you only go to the main collections and skip the exhibition) which is absolutely gorgeous and very romantic.

To keep track of the possible visits of the monuments and museums, and if you can read French, you can buy l'Officiel des spectacles for 35 cents. All the schedules, prices, addresses are inside...

Do consult a good guide before you go, because the restaurants, hotels and cafés in the touristic areas are soooooo expensive that you have to plan ahead to find a good deal.
And when you order coffee, be aware that they'll bring you expresso. If you want drip coffee, only american hotels and tourist restaurant have it on the menu and they make you pay a fortune because it's only for the tourists. Remember, espresso may be stronger in taste, but there's actually less caffeine in it than in drip coffee, so don't be afraid to give it a try.

If you don't mind walking, go to Sacre Coeur! It is in the north of Paris, a beautiful Church on a hill, and you can see the city even better than from the Eiffel Tour! Also, the artists quarters are up there, overcrowded, overpriced but still romantic, always music...you also must visit the latin quarter (lots of small restaurants, shops, and streets), if you look at your map of Paris, southeast of Notre Dame. Don't miss walking through Notre Dame, remember, it began construction in 1163!!! It is an unbelievable feeling to walk through there. Also, on the 'ile de la cite' where ND is located, a little further to the west, is a smaller church called 'Ste Chapelle'. It is a bit difficult to find, surrounded by walls, but the glass stained windows in there are even more beautiful than in ND.

the best visit for the people, it's VERSAILLES the castle , and after u have " MUSEE DU LOUVRE " , Montparnasse, Les Champs Elysées, La Seine and the Fly boat , Cathédrale Notre Dame de Paris , and the Eiffel Tower........

Eiffell Tower........have you ever heard that saying on a clear day you can see forever..........when you are at the top on a clear day it does seem as if you can see forever.....it is soooo beautiful
