Are there any clubs or things that i can join/do in highschool to meet more people? Right now I don't really come in contact with very many people and I want to start dating.

Go to the swimming pool and do swimming lessons. Take up learning the Guitar/Drums. Find someone that knows you in your family that can pull the women and ask them what your capable of and what things need a brush up. Start making friends with girls at your school, because they will be potential targets for the school dance or Blue light disco. If you know them you have an excuse to get in first and chat, hook up and find the one for you. You could end up with the one you least exspected to. I went to a blue light disco and my friend asked every chick he seen for a dance and they all knocked him back, I walked around saying hi to all the girls and one tapped me on the shoulder and said do you like my friend - (she was heaps nice - the friend I mean) and of course I said yes and bob your uncle instant pick up. The thing is if you don't make a decision for yourself others will make one for you. So whatever way you decide to go some thing is going to happen as long as there is a will there is a way - be carefull what you wish for it may just come true!

Check with a guidance counselor at your school about clubs to join. There are youth groups at most churches. Many go to the youth group without belonging to the church. Get on the Internet and find the website for churches in your area, then look up the youth activities. Another way to meet people is to work or volunteer. A local YMCA might have youth activities, you could also check that by finding their site on the Internet. Jobs where other young people work would be a good idea, too.

I would say don't try to date. If you are in highschool you need to focus on good grades and college. I was focused on dating and boys...well guess what I ended up married and not going to college. You don't realize what a special time of life you are in. Dating is all you'll have to look forward to later on. Right now you have the opportunity to focus all your time and attention on school. You will NEVER have such an opportunity ever again. You will have work, family, and other issues to deal with. You will meet people in time...college is a great place for that. Just try not to take your eye off the real goal.

When I was in high school, most of the dates I had were met in class. I didn't have time for clubs and after school activities. I had to go strait home from school, take care of my younger brother, prepare dinner for when my parents got home from work, then my home work. I really don't know what kind of clubs to suggest, but surely there are enough girls in your classes to meet up with. If not, then surely you have friends that can introduce you to a few girls that don't already have a b/f.

I am sure there are. Just make sure it is a club that has a good mix of guys and girls.
Check at school. There is really no way people on Yahoo Answers can no what clubs they have at your school and which are active and full of kids. Get off the computer and participate!

Join as many clubs at school that you can..There are lots of groups outside of school to..look in the phone book, yellow pages under social and human services they need volunteers

Aren't there other people in your school who aren't in clubs and stuff. You do know that you don't have to be in a club or group to find a person to date, right? You can date anyone, anywhere even that person who sits next to you in Math class, if you want..

Focus on school and getting into college. You will meet plenty of people from all walks of life in college.

You can try some of those Personals on the internet here, but i would just go out to Clubs and other hang out spots for teens.
