how long should I stay on the MEDS ????

there are three meds used. colchicine (short term), indomethacin , (short term).. used for inflammation and getting rid or uric acid, and allopurinol, this med should be long term. It will keep acid level down to keep boughts from happening. Avoid wine and cheese because these will increase uric acid in body. good luck , JJ the pharmacist.

All ways stay on medication as long as the Doctor orders. Feeling better is great! However, it dose not mean you are rid of what ever caused the ailment. Follow Doctors Orders.
