If your nose is blocked inhaling steam with 2 drops of Tincture Benzoin, works wonders. Even steam alone opens up the blocked nose totally. If its runny, take an anti histamine (Allegra, Levocet etc.). If u are running a fever, use ibuprofen 400 mg thrice daily after meals. If your throat aches, gargle with warm salt water at least thrice a day. Drink lots of water. Take lots of rest and give yourself a week to recover. All the best.

When you have the common cold the best thing to do is drink lots of fluids and rest. If you're worn out and dragging, take a couple of pain killers such as Tylenol or IBprofen. They say that chicken soup really does work on a cold. It makes you feel good if nothing else :).
