it must be i have a number of sites which can tell you why (email me for them) but i cant list them on here there are too many.
but its not hard to see why... christianity is wrong as proved by the book: holy blood, holy grail, and because he was a prophet in islam it automatically makes islam incorrect, paganism and judasim is just weir devil worship.
buddhism and sikhism is alright too, but they're just ripped off versions of hinduism.
so ive decided to become a proper hindu, i might even learn sanskrit someday and follow the vedas.

These people who are responding don't know anything about the religion, but it's interesting that you find the religion to be a good match for you, my family is Hindu, but I'm an agnostic myself, but when you read Hindu philosophy, it was very far ahead of it's time, and people have filled their heads up with nothing but stereotypes and rumors, and I'm so tired of having to explain the religion, I'm tired of it because it's ironic that hinduism is the one religion that genuinely tolerates everyone and is very peaceful, it's one rligion i have come to respect, even if I'm not a follower, I always respect people who look at it from a sincere interest, looking past all the stupid things said about it and not just because it's exotic
But I think you got these people angry because you claimed it to be the true religion, if you were really a Hindu, Hindus don't claim themselves to be the true religion, hinduism isn't even a religion in the eyes of Hindus, you won't ever fidn the word Hindu in any of their texts, if it's the religion that you find comfort in, ok, but don't advertise, I hate it when people advertise religion
I'm an agnostic, and it really doesn't bother me if people follow religion or not, but what does bother me is when they have something rude to say about agnostics or atheists, and are extremely superficial with the religion and don't question or think, you found your religion through questioning
I honestly hope that in the furture people don't rely so much on religion and pelasing a shallow god (Hinduism and Buddhism aren't like that, but many of the followers are)
What also irritates me is when people of other religions start preaching a different religion from a biased perspective in hopes to make their own sound more appealing, Judiasm, Hinduism and Buddhism are the only religions I have respect for because Christians and Muslims have long lost the definition of religion

Ha! Guess what? Judaism and christianity both predicted false prophets. Christianity also says God will deceive other people into thinking they're right. The world needs a savior. It's so wicked that no "good" works could get you into an eternal paradise. It is completely the grace of God that makes you righteous...makes sense right? Probably not because if you don't come to God believeing he is the true God then he won't reveal himself to you. Good day and God bless!

Are you asking us or telling us! If your asking then Hinduism is not the true religion because its followers worship..cows, monkeys, elephants..etc...etc (300 milion gods) and the Bhagva Ghita is nothing more than a book of fairy tales. If your telling us then I guess you have that right in this wonderful free society that we live in. Jesus said "Iam the way, the truth, and the life, no man can come to the Father except through me".

My parents are Hindus...and I've been brought up in that environment (though I'm an atheist)...
It's true..the Vedas have lots to teach us..
However..I don't think there is any "true" religion. All religions basically teach the same things - in different ways.
And to clarify the Idol worship "misconception" - people don't "worship idols" per se... They are sort of "points of concentration"..
There's already so much "intolerance" in this world..let's not debate over which is the "true" religion! :)

Holy blood Holy grail is based on a lie from some moldy French guy just trying to make himself royalty. He was sooo messed up that when he went to court over the fake documents he planted in the archives the court told him to go away because he was stupid. Check into a guy named Plantard. He was very delusional.

"paganism and judasim is just weir devil worship."
How is "weir devil worship" different from normal devil worship? Does it only involve the worship of weir devils? Or are the devils only worshiped on weirs? Oh! I know! It's when devils worship weirs!

i don't understand why you think islam incorrect.but,i can help you if you want to become a true hindu(following the vedas and only the VEDAS)
i'll give some verses from the vedas.
1.chandogya upanishad(chapter 6)
"God is one only"-this is contrary to the hindu beleif in many gods.but it goes hand in hand with the quranic verse"say there is only one God"(chapter 112,verse 1)
2.swetasathara upanishads(chapter 4,verse 19)
"There is no likeness of him"-
then how can you say ganesh has elephant head
3.yajur veda(chapter 32,verse 3)
"na thasya pathima asthi"meaning"there is no image of him"
then how do you draw the images of gods like shiva, vishnu, ram
4.yajur veda(chapter 40,verse 9)
"they are entering darkness, those who worship ASAMBUTHI(asambuthi means natural things like air, water, fire).they are sinking more into darkness those who worship the SAMBUTHIS(created things like statues)"
this is in contrast to the idol worship in hinduism.
now,can you see the difference between the real hinduism and the hinduism followed by hindus today.and can you see the similarities between islam and the true hinduism.........

No. How can worshipping statues or animals be right when they can be killed or destroyed. The bible contradicts itself because at no point in his life did Jesus accept himself as the Son of God. Jesus asked God to take the cup of death away from him so how could he be Crucified. Islam is the correct path forward.

I'm acutally a sikh and no it's not Hinuism...
I just hate all you religion-spreading people... religion is NOT true...
Self-Religion IS TRUE! Why are you SO dependent that you need a religion to guide you? Can't you be independent and set your own path and set your own limitations and rules?
It's not that hard...
