Guys are always looking for signs if it's okay to take a "friendship" to the next level. But we end up getting stuck in that "friends only" category FOR LIFE because the girl won't come clean with us. If you really do fancy a guy PLEASE tell him. It's okay!!!

Girls think that us,boys, need to make the first move.Saddly,us,boys, never pass that FRIENDS ONLY phase.A guy needs to know if it's okay with the girl to be more than friends,but most girls don't speak about that when they are with boys.
Even if boys make the first step and ask a girl out,most girls preffer not to speak about that.I do wish that will change.A girl speaks about relationships only if they really want to make boyfriends quicker.Girls like me 'cause I tell great jokes,look good and 'cause I'm smart,but until now,only one showed me that she really likes me.The rest just preferred to stay back and just be friends...

thats a double bladed sword...in one instance girls do the same thing....but they want to see if us guys are ready for them...they do matore faster than us...on the other hand ....alot of girls will hide feelings from us because they dont want to hurt us and want someone to fall back on as a friend in case they need 1...when a couple get together....when (if) a breakup occures, the two r hurt and the friendship is wrecked(usually). so they dont want to lose that friendship...thus putting us in that "friends only" catagory

Girls get told to follow "The Rules"--meaning play hard to get and all of that crap. When I was growing up, my mother would never ever let me call a boy, because she believed it would make me look desperate and give the guy the upper hand. I think a lot of people still think this way.

....fear of rejection & embarrassement that goes w/ it is probably equally intimidating for both genders...the friends first route helps, though :) I think a friends only message means that you/your friends just haven't found "The" girl for you yet. If someone really wants a romantic relationship, they won't hold back...hang in there...and don't settle...the right girl will surely let you know she's the one ;)

well, for ME.. i hate rejection. even if i think a guy is slightly interested, i don't want to be the one to say anything first, because i just NEVER know unless he tells me for sure. i just sort of flirt.. in a way that could be taken as friendly, not just romantic, just in case they aren't interested, so i won't feel so stupid in the end if he's not. maybe everyone needs a little more confidence, eh?

If you really love someone as a man or as a woman you have to talk to her or him openly,to be brave no matter what because the other one may be fearing of rejection,even the Bible says "Ask,and it shall be given you:seek,and ye shall find:knock,and it shall be opened unto you"(Matthew 7,7).Why to spend the rest of your life in bitter regrets ?

most of us girls are afraid and scared that if we say our true feelings to a boy that he might reject u and then if it is like a true friend then they are scared that if he says no that they wont be friends anymore. But I find all of that wrong I express my feelings as much as I can but u no other are w3eird like dat

Not all women are that way. For the ones that are, it is simply a power trip...control makes them feel stronger than they are adding to their secretly low self esteem

It's true that a girl may feel that you dont feel the same way that she does. she's scared that it might ruin a friendship if she decided to confess. its alot of pressure on girls so therefore they just decide to leave it alone.
