has any one had the same problem as me /i have a white small lump on the roof of my mouth,my dentist called it a polyps .he said it could be removed if i wanted ,but its nothing serious,just wondering if any one else has the same problem,i add i have dentures. thaking you in advance,

I would only have it removed if it was causing a problem with the dentures;

A polyp is a non malignant growth. People get them in different places in the body and you're right it's nothing serious. If you wear dentures and it bothers you, by all means have it removed...it's a relatively simple procedure done in the office.

You should have it removed if it is interfering with your dentures. You need to have a good fit or you will end up with sores in your mouth from them rocking back and forth. This could also damage your dentures.

hi I even have had a mushy whit lump on the roof of my mouth for 5 years .The Dentist stated it became a variety of polyps.He stated i might desire to have ir bumped off in a medical institution .I stated no i wont complication ,however the day previous i had to take my Granddchildren for a ordinary verify up ,and the Dentist asked me how i became ,So i instructed him the lump had long previous greater ,and he had a glance ,He instructed me to make an app in January for him to refer me to a medical institution to have it bumped off .He stated its not something sinister yet i'm scared stiff

Yes I have and had it removed by my doctor. It has never re-appeared.
