I would accept her answer. There is no need to force her into dating and then you might not even have her as a friend. So I'd say friends is better than nothing.

Be her friend. Nothing more boring than a guy who shy away after a small 'no'. Always maintain friendship whenever possible. you'll enjoy it in the long run.

become good friends with her and then ask her if she wants to go on group dates with other friends eventualy she might start to like you
