I'm trying to get out of my town, but if I find someone I want to date, should I even bother? I've been looking for a job somewhere else for a month and haven't found anything.

The city I'm trying to move to is only an hour away, though. I just got out of a three year relationship so I'm still not certain how close I could even get to somebody. But after feeling like I'll never find someone who loves me after this past relationship, it might be nice to feel the magic again.

I'd say go for it, but be honest about your situation.

If you get serious enough, before you relocate, she might end up going with you. Otherwise, it could turn into a long distance relationship for awhile, and move beyond that later.

Also, I don't believe a relationship needs to be long term, in order to be worthwhile.

While I think it's good to consider various problems you might run into, you can't really predict what's going to happen.

You might even run into some unexpected benefits. This woman you're dating might have an uncle who owns a business in another state, and you could end up working for him. Things like that do happen.

If you really want to move, don't start dating someone.

Get out of your town and meet someone in your new city.

A month is nothing. Don't get stuck in a place you don' t want to be.

Wait until the attempt at relocation reaches success or failure before you think about dating. You have too much on your plate at this point. Your career is what really matters.

I wouldn't bother, all it will do is break your and there heart, by leading them on making it seem like you'll be there "forever" for them, then in a few weeks you could move, you shouldn't look when your leaving.

I think it's fine to date those in town, but you need to tell them that you might be moving.

Just don't get into anything serious, don't lead anyone on, and you'll be fine.
